There are no leaks and the headliner is excellent. Overall the hardtop is in good condition. I would NOT mount a traditional air to air intercooler in a side duct, because the size and restriction necessary for those systems is a bit much IMO. Nope sorry guys ecochen2 is right when you get all the mounting stuff off for the softtop the hard top weighs less. What do you think if I trimmed parts of the weather seal under the hard top in attempt to make it sit lower and then use 3M weather seal as a glue and sealant between the hardtop and remaining factory weather seal? That way there is at least some cushioning from the rubber weather seal between the windshield frame and hard top. But IIRC, the softtop is actually less than the weight of the hardtop by about 5-10lbs.
